You are viewing a 1960 Gibson ES-345 with original case. This guitar plays and sounds great. This guitar is a fantastic collectable player grade guitar.
Item description: The finish on the body is original and has weather checking throughout. 5 of the 6 original gold machine heads with replaced keystone buttons. (The guitar has had other machines installed but 5 of the 6 originals are back on it.) The bridge and tailpiece are original. The speed knobs are old but we're not sure if they are original to the guitar. The original stereo wiring harness is included- It has 2 original pots and switch but has 2 replacement pots from the 70's. The guitar has had a Bigsby installed and removed. The frets have been replaced and there are some file marks on some areas of the fretboard. The pickup surrounds are old but not sure of originality. The original case is included.
The guitar has no breaks or repairs. The seams of the headstock are showing some separation on the bass side and a visible line is on the treble side. The integrity of the headstock is solid.
The Electronics of the guitar are all new. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Antiquity's with nickel covers. The guitar is wired in mono with an inline Varitone switch. CTS pots, braided wire and Switchcraft switch and jack were used.
