You are viewing a clean 1977 Gibson L6-S Solid body Electric guitar. Most L6-S models have a natural finish. The sunburst finish is very unique. The guitar has been upgraded with EMG 81/85 pickups and the 6 position selector switch has been replaced with a 3 way switch. The guitar has been played so it show signs of light to medium wear. The back of the neck at the heel has a ding in the finish and the back of the body has light wear and some fine scratches throughout. The back edge of the headstock has some wear and the back of the neck has some finish wear and blemishes in the finish. The guitar has a new bone nut, the low "E" string tuner has been replace with a Gibson nickel tuner, the 2nd tone speed knob is a replacement and the tailpiece is not original to the guitar. We'd categorize this guitar as a players guitar. The frets are in very good condition with just a very light pitting in the "cowboy" chord positions. The neck is comfortable and the action is low the entire length of the fretboard. There are no crack, breaks or repairs. The sale will include the guitar and an aftermarket gigbag.
